HOW WE DO IT First, by using four video cameras and an assortment of sophisticated equipment, we are able to switch from one camera to another using artistic transitions. For example, now you see the ceremony from the front, the same way the guests do, then image dissolves away and is replaced by a close-up of the bride’s face. Next, an image of the groom’s face gradually replaces that, and now you see your guests faces as the videographer slowly pans across the crowd. Each image transition is smooth and pleasing, and the video appears much like a broadcast production, in 2D or 3D.

Second, to ensure great channel separation, we record the sound with a substantial distance between the microphones. During the ceremony, we record each audio and video source from optimal locations. The microphones and cameras are all separate to avoid unwanted camera manipulation noises, and provide us with constant, untainted audio of the entire service. We record audio from the active participants in the wedding using individual microphones, and ambient sounds of the guests with specialized microphones placed in the rear corners. Later, we carefully remix and balance the audio tracks to create super-realistic 5.1 channel surround sound.

Third, although 3D movies have a reputation for having things come at you, our videos draw the viewer in. The superb quality of our work should not come as a surprise to you, but what probably will surprise you is your own emotional reaction to what you see and hear. (You’ll understand this later.)
